PAPILO BUDDHA
Indian Censor Board has rejected screening of the film
Papilo Buddha. The film is produced by an Indo American film maker Jayan
Cherian. After the controversial film
DAM 999 from Kerala, Papilo Buddha has become a next controversy. The film is
about the sufferings of Dalits in Kerala. The Censor Board has pointed out
frames showing the burning of effigy of Gandhiji, visuals and dialogues denigrating
Gandhiji, violence against women and filthy language are the reasons for
rejection.
