Gandhiji arranged the inter caste marriage for his son with Mrs. Lakshmi, daughter of Mr. Rajaji in 1933.
They had four children, Rajmohan Gandhi, Gopalkrishna Gandhi, Ramachandra Gandhi and Tara Battacharaya.
