When Gandhiji was assassinated, a casket containing the soil and blades of grass was collected from the spot. The grass contains drops of blood stains of Mahatma Gandhiji. Other articles are a pair of glasses, “charkha”, photographs of Gandhi visit to London in 1931 is also under the hammer for auction. Our Government and other associations should come forward to bring these valuables of Mahatma Gandhiji to India.
