Did Gandhiji ever saw a movie?
Last week I read an article about Gandhiji visiting cinema hall at Chennai. It says that Gandhiji visited Chennai during 1933 and addressed the Students of the University of Madras at Midland Talkies. This must be the rare occasional visit by Gandhiji.
Cinema played an important role in spreading the National Freedom Movement across the nation. Gandhiji's principle of truth, non-violence spread easily towards the people by the most popular medium of entertainment.
