US Baptizes Gandhiji
Our Indian constitution says, “India is a socialist, secular, republic and democratic country”.
Any citizen of India has the right to follow any religion. Mahatma Gandhiji respected all religions. He had profound knowledge about Christianity. He has also well versed with the Koran. The practice of non-violence and ahimsa was very well adsorbed for the religion of Hinduism and Christianity.
There were news articles about Gandhiji being baptized by a US church. There was a sharp reaction for hurting the “Father of Nation” who was praised as a true devotee of the Hindu religion. Gandhiji a true leader who leaved a life of a pure saint had respect to all religions. We should read the biographies of Gandhiji and try to follow his principles.
